Present Card or Card Number to the Check Out Cashier Process: Manual Entry of a Tops Gift Card Tender: (This will require a manager over-ride) The cashier will select the EFT/EBT button and select the appropriate amount to be tendered A pop up box on the cashier display will prompt “Waiting for Customer Input at PIN Pad. To cancel PIN Pad Press OK. The cashier will press OK. The cashier display will read Enter Account Number using PIN Pad keypad or touch OK to cancel. The customer or the cashier will enter the customer’s Tops gift card number from the back of the card into the pin pad and press Enter. The cashier display will read Enter Exp Date MMYY and press Enter. For gift cards use 1249. The pin pad will prompt “Select payment type”. Select “Gift”. The pin pad will prompt “Amount OK? Yes or No”"
